Priya Entertainments hosted a magnificent cultural night, Borshoboron, on the evening prior to Poila Baisakh.
Borshoboron presented a plethora of programs ranging from drama to fashion show. The evening kick started with a romantic drama, Tobu Mone Rekho penned by Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee. It revolved around the life of two women in love, voiced over by Chaiti Ghoshal and Suchita Raychaudhury.
Just when the romance was at its peak, Rongorosh tickled the minds of all with its outstanding comedy, by the dramatized readings of Dulal Lahiri and elocutionist Sutapa Bandopadhyay.
After giggling over for more than quarter time, the ambiance demanded for some soothing melody to go with the flow. Chironton Swarnajug, a musical tribute to the musicians of the 60s and 70s, by Calcutta Ensemble took to stage to melt the moods.
Finally, came the turn for some ramp walk. Babuana Bibiani, portraying a theme of the zamindar, and kotha styles, designed exclusively by Sarbari Dutta and Shampa Das, caught up with tollywood stars, Dev, Tota Roychoudhury, Kamalika, June Maliah, Chaiti Ghoshal and Arindam Sil in the dhutis and saris, drapped in a unique style as demanded by the theme, added a lift with props such as hookah and paaner bata.
